Race Night

Meldrum and Daviot are the envy of most clubs at Curl Aberdeen, we seem to attract all types of curlers to our club, this isn't just the 'youngsters' but M&D as a club are a very sociable club, from working at the rink and seeing Curl Aberdeen members, new to curling or the area, they seem to seek one thing, a club where they can socialise. No other club really holds as many social events as we do or in the style we do them.  Our awards night is pretty well known, recently it has been the Race Night. Previous years have been Dances, Speakers, Casino Night.

The Race Night is not only a great night (We don't follow the format of any old boring race night), but it is a great way of raising funds for the club! funds which go to pay for the entry of our members into rink competitions, discount the Juniors of School Age and we donate a bit to charity.
